What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior information. When you visit our website, we may collect information from you automatically through cookies or similar technology.

Our website does not currently offer an on-site cookie preference tool. Cookies are set when you visit our website, and you can control them through your browser as described in “How to manage cookies” below.

For further information, visit https://www.allaboutcookies.org/.

What types of cookies do we use?

Our website uses cookies for:

  • Essential functions – These cookies keep you logged in, remember the items in your cart, and make checkout work. The website cannot function properly without them.
  • Analytics – Hapad uses Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are visited and for how long. Learn how Google uses this data.
  • Advertising – Hapad uses these cookies to collect information about your visit to our website, the content you viewed, the links you followed, and information about your browser, device, and IP address. We may share this information with advertising partners, such as Google Ads or Meta, so that when you visit other websites, you may be shown advertising based on your browsing on our website.

How to manage cookies

You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. The website listed above explains how to do this in most browsers. If you block essential cookies, some features of our website, such as your cart and checkout, may not work.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

To opt out of interest-based advertising from many advertising companies, visit YourAdChoices.com (U.S.) or YourAdChoices.ca (Canada).

Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no common standard for how websites should respond to these signals, our website does not currently respond to them. Third parties, such as Google, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our website.

Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
